Due to health regulations, stainless steel platform scales must be used when weighing any type of food product, be it vegetables, meat, poultry, or fish. Stainless steel platform scales do not need the heavy capacity as their larger industrial equivalents. Both the 48X48 model and the 60X60 model top out at 5,000 lbsýplenty of capacity for any food product where precise measurements matter more than bulk payloads.
